| - Stay away! The hotel is located right next to the train tracks so you get numerous horns and the very loud sounds/room shaking associated with freight and passenger trains. Second, the staff here lack any courtesy or niceties. When I informed them that they had the incorrect dates for my departure, I was told "that's not my problem". I'm a gold member but the front desk refused to take my number when I checked in until after I offered my credit card. So no mention was ever made of my status benefits. I was put in a room right next to the train tracks. Nor was I offered any of the amenities that accompany the gold status. As a frequent traveler, I appreciate good customer service and all I want is go to my room and hope for quiet and a decent bed. Clearly, neither happened.
When I arrived at my room (not on the SPG floor), I found a bed that wasn't actually made, a tv that gets 12 channels but multiple versions of those same channels (4 different channels for the same ABC, CNN, etc stations), a remote that doesn't work, some pretty disgusting dirt on the filter, a cracked and clearly stained tub, insane noises from the train and an an AC unit that is louder than the trains outside. And when I called the front desk? I hung after being on hold for 10 mins. Go elsewhere.
What's also noteworthy is that management doesn't even respond to any of the multiple complaints listed here in Yelp. If they can't even do that, imagine what else they don't care about? Oh yeah - service.
