We've been to Craftsteak in other cities, so we knew we'd get a good meal here and we weren't disappointed. The raw oysters were astonishingly fresh, the steaks perfectly prepared and the sides very good. We were in a hurry because we were off to a show after dinner and the staff took care of us in getting us fed and out the door.
My only complaint is we each ordered steaks and when they arrived they came in a cast iron casserole marinated in a wine reduction. Nowhere on the menu did it mention the steaks came prepared this way. I prefer my steak presented simple, no sauce, no garnish. The picky thing is there were no utensils to transfer the steak from the casserole to the plate, creating a moment of nervousness that I might drop a $60 piece of meat onto the floor when trying to stab it with my fork or splatter the wine sauce on my clothing.
