| - If you get it on sale, great.
If you pay full price, not so much, there's better at the same price point.
This hotel is HUGE. Enormous. It was originally planned as a condo apparently, before being converted into a hotel. Built in the 1970s for Delta Hotels, its age shows in places. Elevators are tiny, layouts are odd, and while they've done a lot of updating it seems like keeping it going is the main effort. I hear there are plans on further renovations though, which is great.
Service was friendly on my visit, and while there with a broken ankle I was given an accessible room with a walk-in/sit-down shower, which definitely improved my life. The room had a very comfortable King Size bed, great pillows, nice amenities, and simple decor. But no fridge. I can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel without a fridge in the room. That's table stakes now. Ice bucket though. Nice touch. I didn't bother trying to find an ice machine.
I didn't avail myself of the hot tub, pool, or gym, owing to the break (and surgery on it healing), but I've heard decent things for what that's worth.
If you're visiting Toronto and you get a good deal, go for it. They do offer great advance purchase deals. If not, look at the Hilton, Cambridge Suites, or Doubletree. All are solid deals.
Oh, and park up the street, it's cheaper.
