I stayed at Park MGM for a solo Vegas trip in early April, 2018. This property is being renovated/rebranded from Monte Carlo to Park MGM. While renovation is taking place, the property does not have much to offer aside from some new rooms and a good location on the Strip from which to launch.
It was made clear that renovations are being performed at the time I booked the room direct through MGM. Entrance to the property is around the side, and there are scaffolds and roped off areas abound. Security is posted at the makeshift entrance, which is good because at the time it was quite literally an alleyway. The large hallway into the casino area looked foreboding, as the entire area was incomplete - right up to the ceiling.
I stayed in a Strip view King room. The furnishings were nice, the bathroom was great, but as others have said there was very little space for making yourself feel at home.
While I am looking forward to this COMPLETED property, as it stands now it's simply a cheap place to stay in a place that will eventually be a top-dollar property. In my opinion, MGM should not have kept Park open during renovations - it's simply destroying the brand name.
