Eeek gross! I guess they haven't fixed themselves after their yellow food inspection score earlier this year.
We ordered 16 Fanny Bay Oysters and they were all super fishy smelling and not shucked properly. They were all still fully attached to the shell, had shell fragments in each oyster, and were squishy as hell. They all literally smelled like the fish section of a chinese grocery store. Disgusting. The waitress tried to tell us that that's usually how fishy they are, like we've never had oysters before. She didn't even bother to smell them herself.
The salmon aburi donburi was pretty good, takowasabi was pretty good. Oysters are no longer good. Bleh.
