This Albertsons is smaller than most and it is pricey compared to its competitors. However, our choices of grocery stores is limited in our area of Summerlin. We normally choose this store based mostly on convenience.
One point of concern in the area of customer safety is after about 8:30 in the evening, they lock and block 2 out of the 3 available exits. Even though it's printed above each door that they are to remain unlocked during business hours. I'm sure this is meant to curb shoplifters from sneaking out of the store while staff is reduced. I would think customers being able to exit the store quickly in case of an emergency would trump what little loss they suffer due to shoplifting.
So, in a pinch, this store will do but if you have the time, a drive to Smiths at Lake Mead / Rampart or at Charleston / Hualapai is a better bet.
