Radio Maria has been a downtown fixture for many years. I've had some tasty entrees years ago in their dining room. But their current iteration isn't quite as memorable.
There are plenty of drinks to suit many tastes. I had a mint julep (under a different fancified name) that tasted pretty standard. The late night menu is ok; nothing to rave about. We tried just about all the small plates available: tacos, pozole, and nachos. I'd rather go to a taqueria for the real deal.
Brunch is better than late night. The Bloody Mary bar is ok - just garnishes for your drink but none of the typical edible accouterments.
The place looks lovely with its trendy, eclectic decor but the aesthetics may be deceiving. I want to like Radio Maria but my experiences here with the food and drinks have been underwhelming.
