| - Time for an update-
I've been putting this off for months, saying "well I'll give them more time, maybe they'll pull things together" but it just seems to continue to get worse.
Where to start...
Strike 1: NO ORGANIZATION - Saturday nights get crazy around dinner time, as to be expected, but the employees are decidedly absent. Maybe two checkout lines will be open, maybe just one. That extremely pricey hot food you got? Yeah it'll be really cold by the time you FINALLY pay for it. Also, for some reason, the man putting your pizza in the to-go box will drop it, peel all the cheese off and place it back in the wrong way, shove it closed, and let you deal hold it in disbelief. It's just not the same. The friendly people who used to work here are slowly being pushed out and replaced by people who seem to be bothered by the customers.
Strike 2: DAIRY, WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING?? - "this looks like a third world country" just one of the many overheard comments when approaching the dreaded dairy section. There is one regional brand, Atlanta Fresh, that is grass-fed and quite frankly just head and shoulders above other dairy products as far as taste. Unfortunately, the amazingly healthy salad dressing has disappeared for months, the BEST cream cheese has been gone for a month and a half and the area for the large yogurts (every one whole, skim and 0%) is completely empty. I've had to resort to using the yogurt to make my own cream cheese with cheese cloth, strainers, etc. but even that has now been taken away because the yogurt is gone. The only option is to buy the Whole Foods brand (which is akin to eating chalk). I'm beyond disgusted at paying a premium and then having no guarantee of even being able to buy products I want. I've emailed, called, tweeted and talked to countless people at Atlanta Fresh (and they know my family by name) about this problem and it always goes back to the third party distributer. Whoever this distributer is for this Whole Foods needs to be fired as of yesterday. Shame on them.
Strike 3: Homeless man still lives here.
