| - I ordered service via my home warranty, and the initial tech came out and was really nice. He addressed the concerns and said he'd order the parts for my dishwasher. The company sent me notification when the parts arrived and asked for me to schedule a service appointment to finish the repair. They don't do calls on the weekends, and have limited appointments available during the week. I pushed the repair back 2 weeks to fit their time slot and specifically told them the earliest I could be home was 1:15 (with permission to leave work early). The lady on the phone said "oh, no worries, we'll make you the last appointment of the day. It shouldn't be a problem." I told them I cannot access my phone until 12:45 while at work. Again, I was assured that the tech wouldn't need to contact before then if I was the last appointment of the day. I never got a phone call the day before stating I was the ONLY appointment for the 12-5 time slot, and no one told the tech that I wouldn't be able to take calls until after 12:45...so when he tried contacting me at noon (according to the lady on the phone bc the only message I actually have is from the lady calling me at 12:57 to reschedule), I didn't get the alleged call. Nor did my security cameras register activity at my house. I called the company back as soon as I got the message at 1pm and they tell me I need to reschedule because the tech has gone home. I don't see how that is fair. I made arrangements to be where I said I'd be, when I said I'd be...pushed back the repair to fit their hours of operation, and a tech guy wants to go home early bc I am the "only call" for that day. I now have to wait additional time. If I was the only call, I should have been notified the day prior. That way I wouldn't have had to leave work early. Secondly, if they routinely send out service techs until 5pm, the tech shouldn't have been able to clock out at 12:22pm. Seems more like the guy wanted to leave work early than actually provide the service. Third, they should have passed on the note that I wasn't available until 1:15...a time I was told "wouldn't be a problem"
