  • My AC quit working while we were out of town and our pet sitter was staying with our animals. We called another company to diagnose the problem and were quoted $2000 to replace a bad compressor. I contacted Alpha Air via Yelp for a second opinion the day before getting back in town and scheduled an appointment for next morning. Artur showed up on time and even texted me with his ETA. He spent a good 45 minutes doing a full diagnosis and determined that the compressor was in fact good but the fan motor had bad bearings and was causing compressor to overheat and trip the breaker. My original $2000 diagnosis was for a bad compressor tripping breaker, that technician spent 15 minutes diagnosing the problem. Artur had the part on hand and 30 minutes later I had working A.C. for less than $500. Artur also found a leak, replaced the leaking hose and added some Freon. He cleaned the coils free of charge and explained in detail the steps he took to diagnose the problem. I couldn't be any more happier with the service and professionalism I received from Alpha Air and Artur specifically. I even got a text later on in the day making sure everything was still working OK. If you need your AC fixed and want an honest professional opinion give Artur at Alpha Air a call.
