Great little find in the Villeray neighborhood. It's one of those old school mom and pop shops, where everything is made with simple ingredients in the traditional way. So obviously, I was very excited to try this place.
I loved the adorable older gentleman who greeted us in limited English and the older lady who then came to help complete our order.
We tried the classic Lahmadjoune (6 for $8 or 12 for $14), spinach pizza, hummus and pickled turnips. the Lahmadjoune and pizza were so fresh, they were still hot from the wood burning oven. Unreal!
Note: this is just a take out counter, so no place to sit and enjoy
