| - I find it humorous that I've visited Children's Museums in several states/cities and have yet to visit the one in the city I live in. But I digress.
There were two things that really struck me about this children's museum, compared to others we've been to. One, things aren't are 'close' and tight, giving plenty of room for kids to avoid colliding into each other when running about (tho running is highly discouraged, but they're kids!) This gives the illusion that the place is sparse, but it's not. There is plenty of different activities and stuff to do. The next thing is that I've never met such nice attendants. Most of the other ones I've been to seem to be staffed by younger volunteers/workers that are nice, but don't interact much. Each 'station' seemed to have a lovely person that not only kept the place tidy but interacted with the kids, introducing them to various activities available (painting, chemistry "experiments", "cooking") and they couldn't be nicer.
Only tip for parents.... you need one adult per kid to keep track of them. Unless one is old enough to listen and follow directions.
Oh, and be sure to try out the ice cream at the front little cafe, Perfect end for a good day. My little guy fell asleep within 5 minutes after leaving.
