| - I hate to leave bad reviews but.....I was a member for many, many years. When I signed up I was under contract for 2 (or 3?) years for which I couldn't break unless I paid a huge fee. Regardless, I've been a long time customer, way longer than my original contact term. So somehow, much to my surprise, I was informed I've signed a contract in perpetuity (?) And I didn't inform them in the proper way that I was moving, which evidently involved some incredibly complex written procedure (verbal isn't good enough). Consequently, they say I still owe for my last month, which I don't agree. Regardless, they sent the disputed amount of $40.00 to their collection agency! Yes, forty dollars is worth the franchise losing a customer for life. This issue occurred several years ago. Every year I get a call from their collectors, every year I tell them where they can put their $40.00! Just beware of this business. Be smart, do NOT give them your social security number. Better yet, go to another gym.
