Good Indian is very hard to come by in Phoenix, so I was looking forward to Tamba. The meal and company were both enjoyable. Prices were very reasonable. The meal came out to $55 with wine!
Wine: Bonny Doon Riesling. Something about a sweet white wine pairs nicely with spicy, rich Indian food. This retails for $11 and paid $26 at the restaurant. Not too bad of a mark-up I guess.
Entrees: Tandoori chicken--yum yum. Very generous portion.
Prawn Makhni--rich buttery cream sauce. On the spicy side.
Chicken Tikka Masala -- another rich flavorful curry.
3 dishes with rice and garlic nan--the 3 of us were completely stuffed.
