  • It's been 15 years since my last tattoo, and this was my first experience hand selecting the shop, the artist and the design. I had two cousins and best friend get tattoos from Fritz, so the shop came highly recommended. I followed them and their artists on Instagram so I could see whose work may closely embody what I wanted in my next tattoo. After weeks of consideration and IG stalking, I decided to go with Alexander. Even though the design I had to mind wasn't exactly his "style"... I admired his attention to detail. From beginning to end, working with Alex was great. Very professional and easy to communicate with. I discussed my idea with him, and he came up with a beautiful design. The tattoo went very smoothly from beginning to end. As for the shop, it has a very cool vibe, everything is super sanitary- definitely a great place whether you are new to tattoos or a veteran. And a heads up... Alex does do color! Most of his IG are black/grey but he can rock out color as well :) In terms of pricing, I cannot speak to whether prices are high, low or moderate. I thought it was very fair for what I got. Personally... I don't believe that a tattoo is a time to be bargain shopping. It is a piece of art that will be forever on your body. Make the investment in a clean, well respected shop and a good artist!
