TL;DR - Delicious, no non-sense chili cheseburgers
Food - 5/5 - Yoooo! The burger was amazing. Went with the single chili cheeseburger with everything on it. The burger was well seasoned and the toppings were in perfect proportions. Chili was complementary to the entire burger as opposed to making it feel sloppy or extraneous. In a world where people are constantly trying to push the envelop on burger toppings and presentation techniques, it was nice to have just a solid, well-constructed, evenly proportioned burger. To me, it's like a better version of shake shack. The fries were also delicious. They were crispy and well seasoned. We did not get chili cheesefries, but I can tell that the fries would hold up extremely well and be delicious.
Ambience/Decor - 3/5 - Inside has an old-fashioned 60s/70s vibe. By vibe, I mean it looks like they haven't changed the place since they opened it except for regular maintenance. It was exactly what I'd expect from a place like this. Outside was a tad on the sketchy side and I'd probably be hesitant to take my wife here at night (but realistically, I'm sure it's fine).
Price - 3/5 - Not cookout cheap, but picing was fair
Service - 4/5 - It's a low overhead operation, so don't expect a ton of staff. But the staff was quite helpful and prompt.
A bit of a hidden gem if you ask me.
