I'd had this place bookmarked to try for a lonnnng time! So when my friends suggested it for Restaurant Week I was obviously elated. Finally!!!
And they did not let me down!!! It met all of my expectations and more.
I like that their menu for Restaurant Week includes all of their classic dishes and a glass of wine!
I decided to go with the seafood gumbo, étouffée with all three (chicken, shrimp and crawfish) and the key lime our for dessert.
The seafood gumbo was classic. It was warm and hearty with just the right amount of spices. The étouffée was nothing short of amazing!!! I'm basically a fan of this dish for two reasons....one they are not skimpy with any of the meat selections and two it's sooo spicy! I definitely recommend sopping....(yes sopping) up some of that delicious sauce with those rolls. Yum.
Not to be outdone the key lime pie was a great way to end the meal.
Add to an amazing meal a live band and complimentary valet....this place is definitely worth a visit!
