Over all this is an awkward situation for anyone to be in. The people who work here and the people visiting for mammograms. For the most part Solis makes the process easy! Thank you for that :)
Two points of contention -
Solis wrote me a letter to let me know I could come in for my yearly mammogram and I didn't need a referral from my doctor. No, that is not correct. My primary care physician (one of MANY in a group of physicians) will not approve a screening until she sees me first. The reason, if one of their patients ends up with "concerns" the doctor's group does not want to be left with any debt incurred by such a discovery. Does this make sense? Not to me either but I get the referral and off I go.
The front desk folks are kind, very nice and accommodating and so is the radiologist!
Not everyone is though so here is my suggestion for the rest of the staff. Please look at me and tell me your name. I'm getting ready to put my bosoms in a vice grip and expose them to radiation. How about a smile? Let's be nice to each other :)
