| - One of the most unique culinary experiences that Montreal has to offer , the food is hearty and most importantly HONEST, and it's bloody finger and arm licking delicious , the chef managed to hit the magic formula of keeping the authenticity of old French cuisine while experimenting with unpretentious creativity . I have eat there 3 times before writing this review, although the stuffed pork leg with the fois gras sauce and the canned canard are my favorites , the wooden oven cocked Brussels sprouts with bacon is irresistible, every single dish on the menue worth trying , the restaurant isn't cheap as the comfortable casual decor could make you assume but it's worth it , oh and the wine selection is great, the sommelier is expert and HONEST , he doesn't try to sale to you the most expensive bottle, he knowledgeably helps you in making a good choice without breaking the bank , the service is excellent and remarkably friendly, well done , chapeaux bas
