Cute boutique-y bakery. There's a cute chandelier and seats in a corner. The cakes displayed were beautiful! Since it's fall, I've been on a pumpkin kick. I got the pumpkin latte cupcake and a pumpkin snickerdoodle. My husband got a turtle cake and snickers cupcake.
The pumpkin cupcake was a disappointment. The description on the menu says the icing is a mocha spice buttercream w/ coffee flakes. I could not taste any mocha/coffee or pumpkin. The cake was moist, but the buttercream was so creamy it took awhile for me to wash it off my spoon. It was like heavy grease.
I loved the pumpkin snickerdoodle. It's a smart combo to use the snickerdoodle as the crust. I definitely tasted pumpkin (like pie filling) and the snickerdoodle.
My fave of all the treats we got was the turtle cake. It was very rich! Definitely a chocoholics dream.
They sell a lot of pastries and have some seasonal ones, so I suggest checking out their website. They also sell vegan and gluten free treats.
