| - My husband and I attended on New Year's day. We had walked the entire strip twice and through several casinos over the past two days, so we were EXHAUSTED. Leg Day pain would have been a blessing! Needless to say, we wanted to do something that did not involve much movement ;)
We're not musicals types, but we are huge ED fans, so we gave it a shot :) The place was a bit hard to find for us tourists, at night in a thick crowd, as it's kind of behind/in back of MGM. (Don't ask anyone where the theater is - nobody seems to know.) We arrived 1-1/2 hours early, as we were instructed online 1 hour early to claim our tickets, and we didn't want to move anymore!! Bar was just us and bartender, but it quickly changed. Very nice guy, btw, and we got in on the happy hour service (2 for 1).
Audience that came in was younger, lots of hipsters, and a couple families. (Same parents who took their kids to see Deadpool, I imagine - the cool ones!). We got a couple of pictures of cast before we were seated, which I scored us the first row of the back seats... LOTS of leg room! :D
The show itself was pretty good! My favorite act was "Join Us!" - without spoiling anything AND definitely dating myself, all I can say is I was waiting for ping pong balls to start falling down like on Captain Kangaroo. :P
There was an intermission, and there was opportunity to meet the cast and buy merch, too. :)
Thanks for keeping ot real, Vegas! MWAH! from Chicago! (Now if you could just ditch Giordano's and replace it with Lou Malnati's and make sure your Chicago dogs are Vienna, you'll be all set!)
