| - Quick Review: Good food, but I think the hype made it impossible to live up to expectations.
It seemed like everyone was raving about Meat & Potatoes, but we never seemed to get there for one reason or another. Finally, after buying tickets for a show I was able to get reservations for dinner pre-show.
The space itself is smaller than I expected, to the point that I actually felt a bit cramped.
The staff was incredibly friendly and it became clear that a few diners around us were regulars (one couple told us they lived in a condo nearby).
The alcohol selection was quite nice. I went with an old fashioned, my wife had wine.
Anytime I see duck on a menu I am tempted to order it. This was good, but nothing mind blowing. My wife ordered the Salmon which was, again, good but nothing incredible.
Again, I don't know if all of the hype made it impossible to meet expectations, but we both left the meal with the sentiment "That was good, but not amazing."
I would be happy to go back and try again, but its not a high priority.
