| - I usually have a fine experience here - I work next door and often take my car over and have them call me when they are done.
Usually it is clean and done in a timely manner.
I recently brought both my cars in, in the same week for 2 different washes. The first car, a 2013 VW was brought in about 4pm, I was promptly told they closed at 5pm. When I bring a car an hour before close, I don't need to be told how inconvenient that is for them. I paid about $60 for a wax and a wash. Somewhere in there, my car wasn't ready until 450pm, I heard the men on the walkie talkies talking about my car when I came back to check after 40 minutes. They had forgotten about it, it was sitting there with all the doors wide open wearing down the battery.
The water spots I had come in with were still there and the man that greets you and tries to upsell you on everything had said that the wax would get them out. This greeter/ salesman is there everyday. He is not personable, he asks you multiple times to upgrade your decision and he is poor at communicating to the rest of the car washing team.
The next time I came in with my 1976 classic car, he warned me my antenna could break in the car wash. I have taken my car there multiple multiple times and I have never been told that and it has never broken.
When I come back to get the car, the antenna is broken. He said he didn't know why and the part came off that holds the antenna up. My antenna is specialized, the only way for it to fall inside the hood, is for someone who shouldn't, to touch it and unscrew it manually.
So the idiots unscrewed it for the first time, causing the parts to fall through the hood and get lost.
If you don't know about the car, please just wash it only.
It cost $34 to replace.
In the end, after these silly experiences, I will not be going back, they have lost my business.
To make sure I haven't completely judged the business on it seems, 1 guy - I do have to say the woman at the counter is a friendly delight.
The men who dry the cars and do the final touches, work their butts off in the heat.
The concept, of the family owned local business is great - but it also is not owned by the Lindstrom family any longer.
