| - I had a plain cerakote done. It was done perfectly. They didn't touch the bits they shouldn't have (sights most importantly). They walked me through their process, and it was what I hoped it was, but better.
They removed the old finish, cleaned up machine marks, degreased, blasted all surfaces to be "koted", kote, and bake. My guns look far better than from the factory. My bolt gun had lots of machine marks that will show through cerakote as it is so thin. However, without being asked to, they polished them out, blasted, and koted. My other rifle was made in a country of ill repute and had awful caked up factory paint that had never set. Now, it's gorgeous.
Sorry for poor pics, they're all I have before I laud out a hasty camo in duracoat on top of the cerakote.
