  • This review is for the golf instruction at the Phoenician. Michael Lamana is the pro at the club, and is an amazing teacher! We've been here on two different wedding anniversaries, and the first time we did a private intro session with Michael, it was a great beginner class with good tips on how to improve. The tools that Michael uses to illustrate how to use your club or visualize how the ball moves is really cool. Most recently we took the get golf ready clinic with Michael. It's a really neat multi week course for beginners, each week (1 hr each Saturday for 5 saturdays) you focus on a different aspect of your game. We did the chipping/putting week with Michael and it helped tremendously. My husband was really excited to about the new tools we acquired. Plus it's very reasonably priced, only $35 per person per week! And you can do just one week at a time. Michael is amazing for either a private or semi-private session, you won't go wrong!
