Dr. Warner is kind, generous and intelligent. I really like her as a person. I changed to a nurse midwife after a few months of being under Dr. Warner's care. Dr. Warner was always in a rush with me. I always felt like our visits were running out of time and I had to rush rush rush. This didn't settle well with me and after a few months of this I decided to change providers. I also was so surprised when my nurse midwife provided education on diet, breast feeding, labor and delivery, etc without me even asking. Dr. Warner will answer all of your questions but unless you ask there will be zero or minimal education. The nurse midwife met all of my needs and if you need a practitioner that spends quality time with you, educates you at every visit without you even asking a question then I'd suggest looking elsewhere. If Dr. Warner is not on call your baby will be delivered by a dr you will have never met and if you have an issue at night Dr. Warner would rather you go to the hospital then call her. My nurse midwives are on call 24/7 and I can talk to them at any time to get advice. Best of luck finding the right care provider for your needs!
