| - I had a great time apple picking here. There's an admission fee of $7.50 per person and apples cost an additional $20 for a 20lb bag. They don't sell apples by the pound here, so regardless if you put one apple in the bag or fill up the entire bag, it'll cost you $20. Provided you fill up the whole back, it comes to $1/lb for freshly picked apples which isn't bad.
The entrance fee gives you access to the apples, pumpkin patch, corn maze, petting zoo, and wagon rides. There's also a giant hay stack for kids and free raspberry picking! The raspberries were super sweet! Bring a basket or a bag to pick these as they're not provided.
There's a lot of trees here so don't worry if the first couple rows of trees seem to be barren of fruit! They had signs labelling the types of apples which were really helpful! Unless the apple is yellow or green, they all look the same to me. I enjoyed picking apples and trying out which ones were the most sweet before buying. I probably ate at least 5 apples in my time here. I just wiped them a bit on my shirt before eating. If you're picky about cleanliness, bring a bottle of water to rinse your fruit. I found that the apples were smaller than what you'd normally get from a grocery store, but I liked that.
The demographic consistent mainly of families with children, but it's a fun place for just adults too!
