  • About a week ago (week ago, week ago... ), I went into Soma Wellness for a massage and deep tissue work on my back. I used the Groupon that was offered online so I received a discount; however, I believe that for deep tissue work it costs about $55 per hour. Margret, my masseuse, did a great job. She is very talented and worked out many of my muscle tightness issues in my back. She was kind, considerate, and very knowledgeable with her profession. She used various oils, lotions, and aromas, that quite literally, made the massage go much smoother. For deep tissue work, she used trigger point therapy and was very aggressive by incorporating her elbows and forearms (which my body needs). My only critique is that it seemed like Margret did too self-promoting after the massage. She implied that if I didn't come back my back was going to be screwed. Which, in my opinion at least, didn't seem true and was just an effort to have me come back. Nonetheless, Margret is a great masseuse and she did a phenomenal job!
