  • I am prompted to write an update reading D.D's experience. Kelly, the consultant at one of the two locations was the best part about the overall experience. We had endless issues with David's Bridal. They really are the most disorganized and unapologetic staff I think I have ever encountered in a retail experience. I am getting upset even thinking about it to be honest. I have NO IDEA how they managed to screw everything up so bad, but like DD's experience, they were constantly blaming things on us having "called the wrong store" even though we had not. Scarborough and Etobicoke are VERY far apart. I know which I called. One is close to me and one is not. Regardless the bridesmaid's dresses were sent to one location and the brides dress to the other. And even though we called in the morning to CONFIRM we arrived to having no bridesmaid's dresses and it took them almost an hour to locate the brides. We had an entire crew with us and it was VERY uncomfortable. And no one seemed to care. They acted very uninterested in the entire situation. And then afterwards we had to drive over an hour to the other location to get our dresses as they would not have them shipped to the closer location. Nightmare. Every single communication was awful No one ever knew what was going on. They could not find the bride in the system. They couldn't find my dress. The calamity discussed here can for the most part be blamed on Etobicoke, as that is where the Brides dress was sent. The extreme disorganization, useless phone calls and general mis-information can really apply to either location. In the end sure, she saved a bit on her gown but all the hassle was NOT WORTH ANY SAVINGS. Horrible. And the zippers suck, they are cheap and not durable. Totally un-impressed.
