  • This was the best business encounter I've had in years, and, to think, it was all by chance. I, like many Americans, was brought to my knees financially in 2008. After losing my job, I had no choice but to claim bankruptcy and include my home. Fast forward three years and I've dusted off, moved cross country, fixed my credit and managed to save a sizable down payment for a new home; however, my home is still awaiting the foreclosure process in the great state of NJ. I had been trying for two years to find someone that would help my family and me finance a home. After nothing but rejection and not even being able to get past the initial phone conversation with a lender, I had given up. A coworker heard my story and simply said, call my girl. With great skepticism but nothing to lose, I called Kimberly Hale. I was upfront and told her my whole story, I then waited for the all too familiar, 'I'm sorry but I can't help.' Much to my surprise, the reply was, we can help. I didn't know what to say, I may have asked Kimberly to repeat herself in awe. Within three days after an easy application process, Kimberly says go shopping. (Three days because I insisted on being fully pre-approved so I wasn't wasting anyone's time including my realtor's.) After so much rejection, it's needless to say that I had little confidence and plenty of insecurities about this transaction. We found a home that we loved and proceeded to the next step. At every step of the process, Kimberly was there to answer all of my questions and calm my nerves. A short 30 days after my offer was accepted on the home, we finished all of the paperwork and were handed our keys. I cannot thank Kimberly enough. No matter how big a company is perceived to be or how many resources it has, the people that represent it are the most important part. Kimberly's competence, confidence and sheer willingness to go to work on my behalf was in my opinion the reason why I am a happy home owner once again. I'm sorry if I've gotten a bit lengthy with this review. However, I need for anyone who is reading this familiar story to know that your painful and exhausting search is over. From me, my wife and our 6 month old twins, thank you so very much! PS Donna was awesome too in processing everything!
