  • Ed is a treasure of a contractor! This last rain storm resulted in a large leak in my hallway. I called a couple of other companies, which were 1-2 weeks out on just the estimate. Ed answered and said he was in the area and could come out in a couple of hours, which was awesome, as I have never had a roof leak before, so I was very concerned about how to deal with the damage inside my house, in addition to the roof leak. He arrived on time, showed me pictures of the damage and maintenance items, then said he was a very busy (understandable, considering the large amount of rain LV had just received and his other great reviews), but he would email me a quote the next day, however, I would need to be patient in actually scheduling the repairs (again, understandable). He also reassured me about the inside damage and gave me some tips on how to dry it out, etc. Whew! A load off my mind. The next day, I received a very reasonable quote detailing the repairs. I was still waiting for the other roof companies to provide estimates as well, however, I emailed Ed to get on his schedule, as I really liked his work ethic and how concerned he was about providing solid repairs to all his customers. I did not hear back from him right away, but I wanted to see what other companies would find damaged and compare prices anyway. I then texted him after I received my first quote from another company, to remind him I wanted to schedule the repairs. This other quote was orders of magnitude higher than Ed, and detailed the same damage and maintenance issues. I then received my final quote, which again was much higher than Ed, for the same work. Wow! Ed then texted me that week stating he had a cancellation for the day and he could come by in a few hours and repair my roof, which of course I said "Absolutely"! Ed arrived right in his estimate arrival window, fixed my roof with marked efficiency, then provided the before and after pictures of the repairs. He even added some additional maintenance items, and did not charge me extra money. I am so impressed with Ed and will call him for a yearly inspection from now on, so I don't have a leak in the first place. He may be super busy, but he is BY FAR the best in town! Be patient and you will be rewarded with one rock star contractor! Oh, and since it hasn't rained again, I can't comment on the end result with 100% assurance, however, he provides a 2 year warranty in writing and he is licensed, which he takes very seriously, so I have no concern, as I am confident he would make good on any issues. But he has such an great work ethic and is very proud of his work, that I highly doubt he ever needs to come back to fix his work. Thank you, Ed! You are the best!
