| - Had breakfast here with the parental units the other day. Called ahead seating at 8:30 to be there at 10:30. Good idea because it was very busy when we got there. We waited about 5 minutes for our table. The place is bigger than it looks and there is a whole parking lot for parking. Although there wasn't enough handicap parking for my dad's taste.
The menus have a huge variety of breakfast and lunch items, including vegetarian fare. The cover of the menu has a piece of chicken wire under the plastic that I thought was particularly clever.
We ordered coffee all around, and it was hot and tasty. i had the Farmer's Market Eggs Benedict which added sliced tomato, avacado and sauteed spinach to the traditional dish. it was soooooo good, I wanted to scream it from the mountain tops! I kept saying, "mmmm. mmmm." as I chewed away in heavenly delight.
M had chorizo and eggs and he ate about 3/4 of the huge plate. Mom had an egg beater omelette, but it was covered in too much cheese, she only ate about 1/4 and felt ill. Too heavy for her taste. Dad had the wheat germ pancakes (he actually ordered the "germ pancakes") we all laughed. they were sooooo good, I wanted to shout some more. They were warm and soft and chewy and nutty and sweet. OMG! They didn't even need any syrup, although dad got sugarfree syrup that was awfully sweet anyway. They came in a serving of 2. I, personally, would have added bacon with them to get the salty/ sweet action going.
Breakfast and coffee all around cost us $47. A little pricey, but the food was really good. I would come back here in a heart beat.
