I took my team from work to Second City for what I hoped would be a fun night out and we got what exactly that. Opted for the dinner/show. We received "preferred" seating for booking ahead of time (way at the back, in a corner off to the side) but, unfortunately, we certainly didn't prefer them and when asked if we could move to where the "walk-ins" were sitting they would not permit it. Someone from my group (well, we weren't technically a "group" as we weren't big enough to quality for any discounts) didn't show up, and they would not reimburse me for their ticket, so that was disappointing, as we could have just walked off the street, hope for availability and saved $60 on our meal/show. However despite that minor bump in our evening the show itself was two hours of non-stop laughs. There was enough variety of jokes in the show to appeal to all types of personalities and styles of humour. The wait staff were quick and attentive. Drink prices were not outrageous but reflected in the quality; they were very weak. Overall we all had a great time and I would definitely go back!
