I found Camelback Moving on Yelp and wanted to submit a review to help others who need to move in the future. As my family and I settle into our new home, hiring a mover has been the best money we've spent so far. I called for quotes from 3 movers. Flat rate trip charge ($100) was the same across the board, but Camelback had the best hourly rates ($99 with a Monday-Thursday discount), which other movers didn't offer. James, Adrian and John did a complete pack and move of our 2 bedroom 1200 sqft. apartment. They were on time, effiecent, very careful with our belongings and enjoyable to chit chat with. The job was done in 7.5 hours start to finish and since we had about 20 of our own boxes, packing material costs were minimal ($140). The only hiccup was that there was some miscommunication with the team that it was going to be a full pack and move (they thought it was just a move at first). The foreman called back to the office to clear their schedule for the day and it was taken care of. I could have gotten upset and complained, but I am a believer in the saying, "Treat others as you want to be treated." By staying calm and understanding and being kind and friendly, I think that is why we received the same in return. The company made a follow up call at the end of the day to ensure everything went well with the move. That was an unexpected courtesy and I was very appreciative of their care.
