  • I have been to Eat My Martini many times and will keep on returning. I mostly come on Thursdays (which is great because the martinis are priced at $5 and the shots at $3- awesome). However, on a Friday-Saturday night the price jumps to $6 and $4 shots (not a big deal and still an awesome price). Thursday nights it gets pretty packed and has music- does for a great evening as well but Saturdays is very energetic and fun. People stand around by the bar because the place can get pretty packed. Everyone is socializing, enjoying themselves and surprisingly a great mix of men and women. The male waiter with the curly hair is fantastic- I've had him a couple of times and he is very knowledgeable and makes great recommendations based on what we like- he is also very honest if we ask him about certain drinks. 9 times out of 10 I have loved my drinks. Adored the Ricki Martini (which I thought was a funny clever name), Spanish Fly (the first time I had it was amazing but the second time it wasn't very cold which made it taste funny, still good). Cha Cha Cha (is strong and delicious), Social Engineer is another one of my favourites. The one that I absolutely wanted to die while drinking was Electrify? It's blue and tastes horrible- YUCK, not my kind of drink. But then again, I never thought I'd be a martini kinda gal, so I have to dislike something lol. The decor is cute, it's dim in there so brighter candles or table lights would help for reading the menu. They also have a patio, I just wish it was a little bigger so more people could enjoy a nice martini on a summer night. The only thing that I found odd was 2 times that I went there we had a weird experience with other guests that were there. One time a group off odd males (4 of them) decided to invite themselves over to our table (who are you?) and order us rounds of drinks. It was my birthday so I said why not but it got way out of hand when they kept wanting to order us more. Our waiter stopped bringing the drinks because he knew we wanted to go and gave one of my friends the bill (our initial bill before they invited themselves over) as she went to the washroom hah. Another time, a very intoxicated girl wanted my friend and I to join her on the patio and have some drinks with her male friends..we said thank you for the invite but we are just catching up and chatting here. When we left (after she was even more polluted) she screamed "BYE thanks for leaving me alone out here, so nice of you". Wtf? Next time if you don't like who you are with- leave..or better yet call up your own friends. Very strange. Regardless, that is not Eat my Martini's fault, all I am saying is watch out for some of the folks there....they may rub ya the wrong way. Try it out folks. They have a martini for everyone (everyone someone like myself who is a wine lover).
