| - Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?
There are mirrors all over your hotel room. In the hallways leading to your suite. By the elevators. Some say it's a decorating trick used to make the space look bigger than it is, I say it's a narcissist's dream.
From the moment you walk past the hotel's double glass doors, you'll be amazed by the inviting sight of Encore's glistening pool. The vibrant red color is a dominating presence throughout the hotel, a deep shade of red that's sexy and sophisticated, not trashy.
We booked a resort king suite for our recent stay here, but for something that's called a suite, I thought our room was on the small side. Nevertheless, the bathrooms are spacious with a separate water closet and dual sinks with vanity area. Overall the room is very trendy, tastefully decorated with touches of cream, black and light gold.
Service is so good at the Encore. Front desk people were professional and efficient. The cocktail servers friendly. The housekeeping staff do an incredible job, I walked around our hotel room barefoot and my feet didn't get dirty.
The pool area is very chic with its manicured gardens, comfortable pool chairs, water stations randomly placed in corners. There's also a separate European pool where you can go topless.
If a great deal comes up like the one we snagged, I would gladly stay here again. It's a pleasant change to the usually crowded middle of the strip hotels. (i.e.Caesars, Bellagio)
Plus, I REALLY love those mirrors!
