| - I've been coming here for about 2 years and figured it's time to write a review on this hotel/casino now. I've visited EVERY casino off the strip and this is by far the best one for me...hence why I am a Legend players card status. I've encountered very minor issues with the staff here...no casino is perfect to meet everyone's needs! The buffet is good for the price and location. The MRKT is exceptional; I still need to try the MRKT Patio. The theater and food court are good. The spa is clean and very serene (I've been told). The hotel gym is outstanding...probably one of the best hotel gyms I've been to. The food and staff in Bistro 57 are great. I still have yet to try Salted Lime. A big shout out to the host "Roger" for being so friendly and helpful to my needs. All the slot tech's and slot supervisors are outstanding and very friendly...Grace, Jose, and Nikki to name a few. Kudos to the following cocktail waitresses who seem to move very quickly and are super friendly: Lizzie, Amanda, Briana, and Jacque. I'm sure there's more out there like them, but those are the only ones that took the time to know what I normally drink just by sheer facial recognition....and yes, I'm in the casino quite often so either the others don't care at all or don't care enough about their job to care about the regular customers. Or...I don't recall some names to add to this list. All-in-all, it's a nice casino and obviously I will be back again...maybe tomorrow and the next day.
If I were king for a day (in Aliante)....I would change the following to make the customers even happier:
1. Headliner/Legend Status should get discounted price or free cabanas.
2. Take away the VIP line at the Rewards Center for celebrity status; I don't feel that's high enough to get that perk.
3. The 6-month time to maintain a certain tier is kind of ridiculous. I feel if you're a local, you should be given a year to maintain it...a perk for the local community.
4. Expand the arcade area for the kids...it is way too small. I believe there's enough room on the casino floor to make it bigger. The arcade in Red Rock casino is a good size, but it doesn't have to be that big; just half that size.
5. Take away Rubios fast food place and replace it with Popeye's. I think you'll be amazed how many more people would go there versus Rubios. Plus, you already have a somewhat-Mexican place in the casino.
6. Best for last...add Dunkin Donuts in that casino; just like Sam's Town. You can probably replace Capriotti's with DD being that they built a Capriotti's right down the street within walking distance to the casino/hotel. After all, "America Runs on Dunkin"!!!
Thanks for finally separating the Headliner/Legend line at Medley Buffet from the rest...made me happy.
