| - When you have to argue with the manager over a less than $4 kids meal. Just ridiculous to even waste my time. Will never visit again. Last Friday night, my husband ordered food through the drive thru. We didn't receive all of what we ordered. He didn't notice this until he was at home. Mostly concerned about the missing kids meal.. I had called them. We live over 40mins away from this location. Told them my daughter didn't have her food.. The young lady on the phone said to give them our name next time we visited and we could get another. That she wrote it down and apologized. I asked for her name, she said we didn't need it. Seems simple enough, right? Wrong. We visited the same location today, trying to retrieve the kids meal we previously paid for. After a hassle and a half, plenty of aggravation.. Over 20mins worth of our time.. We were finally able to leave. We had to repeat our story to 4 different people. They kept pushing us from the speaker, to the next window, to the next.. The manager told us that taking down our name is not part of their strict policy. Told me we must have called the wrong McDonald's. I said, no. I'm not stupid, I knew which one I called. After going back and forth I told her this was petty, I'm not arguing and wasting my time for a $2 meal. She corrected me, said it was $3 and some change. Not the point. I shouldn't have even tried to get the meal we previously paid for. It was the biggest hassle, ever. She kept saying.. That isn't policy, she will get in trouble, that they don't have a night time manager that is female.. Here's my thing, every other employee said she will check the book for our name. So if that isn't policy, why are they still relaying that information? You need to communicate with your employees. I'm not trying to be petty but we also ordered other food and at this point it was getting cold. Incompetent people should not be managers. I should've just paid for another kids meal and saved my breath. Quick tip, check your food before you leave the parking lot. Save your receipt. Heaven forbid they mess up... it will still be your fault.
