Booked a Room with a King size bed and a Patio overlooking the golf course for a little get away with the girlfriend. I paid over $300 for the room & based off the pictures online we were very excited. The room was very well updated and modern. Where it fell short however was the cleanliness. I have posted pictures of the disappointments. There were dozens of dead flies on the desk and night stands. There were some sort of dark sticky splashes all over the patio. Cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling and inside the recessed lighting. I know hotels wash and reuse bathrobes but the one in our room just looked and felt worn out. The slippers in the room looked like they had been worn before and then repackaged. We knew we weren't going to spend too much time in the room and we were told uppon check in that the hotel was sold out so we did not make a fuss about it. We just cleaned up the dead bugs, trapped the grasshopper under a glass so the room cleaners would see and dispose of and headed down to the tables. This was my first experience at talking stick and I'm skeptical about giving them another shot. I just think that for the price we paid to stay in the room for one night it's not too much to expect the room's cleanliness to be pristine.
