For years, I've always just cut my own hair. Throw a "2" on my clippers and give myself a buzz cut. It was simple, easy, cheap, and convenient. I've been to a variety of different hair stylists and barbers throughout my life. I've never been overly satisfied with any barber or stylist before in my life, except for when I started to go to Mister Grooming and Goods.
Back in October, I decided I was ready for a change in style. After lots of research on Pittsburgh barbershops, I decided to give Mister a try. I called up on a Monday afternoon and I was able to go in later that night. I will never go to another barber shop as long as I am living in Pittsburgh. I love that every time I walk through the door for a haircut, I am pleasantly greeted and offered a drink. Who can say no to a bourbon. The vibe and atmosphere inside is super chill and laid back. Ali is amazing and works wonders with my hair, especially with all of the cowlicks that I have. The price is very reasonable; $24+ tip for the best haircut you'll ever get. Make sure you make your appointment in advance, as the openings tend to fill up very quickly.
