I don't think I would recommend this spa to anyone solely because of how I was made to feel when I went in for my appointment. I didn't think my skin was horrible- yes I had a few breakouts, but I have been going through hormonal changes and using different skincare. Everyone's skin is different. She immediately said she could see I was breaking out and proceeded to ask me where I worked. I responded -(I work in the beauty industry) to which she replied "how could you work there with skin like this?" I was VERY embarrassed. I tried to be polite because I don't know if this was a language barrier thing- but it truly hurt my feelings. I felt incredibly self conscious that I was even there without makeup on. When I was done and my friend went in for her appointment she told my friend "you have much better skin than her." Which broke my heart. The rest of the day I felt hideous. Other than that she was nice enough and so was the girl at the front desk but I don't think I've ever felt so embarrassed of my skin before. Please think before you say things to people, you have no idea what they are going through.
