| - Needed a haircut badly, so decided to try this place with a Groupon. After very specific instructions, I am mortified when I look in the mirror. Too much texturizing, after I specifically said BLUNT!!! My hair is so wispy and flyaway and FRIZZY from the shears ripping the ends as it was texutrized. UGH. I need another haircut to make it look better, but it is already WAY TOO SHORT. The front is a hacked up mess; have to just keep it tucked behind my ears for the next...oh, YEAR until that part can grow out. I was very specific about how to cut the front, and she did exactly what I told her NOT (because I will end up with a hole) and now I have a hole. ACK!!! Good thing I can wear hats to work!!! I was offered another haircut to fix it...not on your life. I would like to keep SOME hair on my head, thanks. My advice is to worry less about asking me what I am doing this weekend (asked 3 times, so she wasn't listening anyway) and more time doing what I ASK. I have to avoid mirrors for awhile, or I will CRY. :(
Update: A month later, I still am very unhappy with my hair. My only option was to get it cut short to get rid of the over texturizing. When I walked into Salon 1219, I had hair down to my elbows, now I have a collar length bob, all because of the haircut I got here. :( My bob was cut wonderfully by a stylist at one of those walk in only places, and she did exactly what I told her. Maybe I will give a good review to them!
