We rented a car from Advantage Rental Car and picked it up on November 19th 2015 around 10pm and returned it on November 22nd 2015 around 3pm. The customer service agent was very rude when we politely declined all his add ons.
He told us he wouldn't charge for an additional driver if we upgraded to a car that was 150 % higher then we reserved. We told him No Thank You. He said I needed to because the car was very small. Not sure if he was calling me fat or not Lol... Still Declined.
He told us about his great Fuel plan that would only cost $28. We only needed a car for 40-50 miles. We declined and he told us we better fill up within 2 miles of the airport and bring a receipt! We did fill up across from the airport and only used ONE Gallon of fuel at $1.79 Their was nobody to give the receipt to.
He was very rude that we declined all the insurance add ons.
We found the car in the spot he told us and it had a damaged bumper/fender. I went looking for an agent to show. He handed me a slip to mark the damage.
We got home on the 22nd and on the 29th we were charged an additional $95 for three days of rental car. They said we returned the car on November 25th. Not true. We returned the car on November 22nd. There are signs to leave the car and Keys inside. No agents to talk to, or get a signed copy that the car was returned in the same condition.
The only proof we have is our Flight Itinerary and Boarding Pass that we returned the car on November 22nd. After being on hold for nearly 20 minutes, we finally got to talk to customer service and she asked that we emailed her proof. We have done so and hope to see our credit in a timely matter.
