  • I've been here before and have been happy with the prices, selection and service. This time, I wanted to buy 2 yds. Even another customer mentioned that the fabric I selected was on sale for $2.99/yd. BEWARE!! When I took it to the counter, the elderly woman who waited on me insisted that it was $4.99/yd. Oh, it could have been an honest mistake. She checked with someone and I was told that it was indeed $2.99/yd. Then she measures the fabric and tells me that there will only be 1-1/2 yds left on the bolt if she sells me the 2 yds I want. She refuses to sell me the 2 yds. She tells me that I can buy 1-1/2 yds which will leave 2 yds on the bolt or I can buy all of it. I have been buying fabric for nearly 50 years. I have never heard of such a rule. It felt like she was going to get $10 bucks out of me one way or the other. I left without buying the fabric. I contacted a store in Ohio which has fabric I love. She is going to ship it to me.
