| - I think after reading the reviews from everyone we had really really high expectations and few were met. This place is good but nothing to run home and tell my mom about.
Pros: Server was kind, food was served quickly, steak was cooked as we asked, proportions were large, drinks were strong, dessert was comped because we were celebrating our anniversary, water glasses were always promptly refilled
Cons: We were NEVER addressed by our last names although we had a reservation, tons of people were wearing shorts and flip flops, we were never offered bottled water (automatically served tap), not the best steak we've ever had :(
For appetizers we ordered the crab cake, one large cake with a butter sauce that is richer than Bill Gates and the oysters Rockefeller, good but was just an oyster with spinach, bread crumbs and cheese. Entrées were both steak, better than most places but nowhere near the best. For sides we had the au gratin potatoes which needed more potatoes for all the cheese and creamed spinach which was a bowl of the same stuff on top of our oysters Rockefeller. Dessert was pretty darn good though. Croissant bread pudding was the highlight of our meal.
Bottom line is that the place is good but not great, I say check out the band in the lounge area....they are awesome!!! Prime in the Bellagio and Anthonys in The M Resort are still my top two steaks in Vegas!
