Saturday May 12 2018 7am - Jean Marc - RUDE INCOMPETEN. I called direct TV 1 (800) 531-5000 to get a store location here in town so I can return the équipement.
We disconnected about 10 days ago and didn't want to charge us the rental of the équipement since they didn't send us a box to return it.
I called to get a simple info ... where can I find a direct TV location so I can drop off the remotes and stuff. Easy call right?
Nope the guy refuses to give me the simple info without getting account # , name, phone, address etc
I guess he was reading his script of politeness which pissed me off at 7am, a 2mns call just to tell me you have direct TV location here and here needed up being an argument call for 7mns before that agent put me on hold and never got back to me.
I told him "my call is simple can you provide me with direct TV address so I can drop my stuff, no need to read your script, it's 7am and I want this to be quick"
Well Direct TV that is why we disconnected you!
How hard was to satisfy my request???

Bad customer service!!! Training is the key!!!
Agent are trained with too much script which make the interaction very impersonal
Please make sure you forgot our number and do not call me in a year or 2 asking us why we cancelled your service
