Sure, Doc's cool but his popsicles are even cooler. Tried the majority of his flavors and must say the Coconut Lemongrass Lime is the king of heap. It's an adult flavor - not really for kids. By that I don't mean any kind of NSFW porn thing with people doing unmentionable things with popsicles - no, no, no! I mean it's an understated flavor - subtle and not too sweet either. Most kids prefer an explosion of sugar and flavor and Doc's has that type of popsicle as well. But this flavor is a lot more subtle. You can taste the lime and lemongrass foremost and the coconut is understated. Remember those "Magic Eye" pictures of dots people would stare at back in the 90's where if you stared at the dots long enough all of a sudden you'd see a 3D image of a dragon or whatever? Yeah, it's sorta like that - all of a sudden you taste that hint of coconut that seems to come out of nowhere but not too overpowering - just enough of it for you to notice. Impressive that Doc can keep that balance of flavor consistent batch after batch - I stock up every so often like some jonesing junkie picking up his stash. The mango habanero I would say is second place - but not even a close second - I can actually live without that flavor. It might not be the easiest place to find since it's in one of those business malls and their sign might not be that visible from the street - it's on Warner on the south side of the street between Priest and Hardy. Heck just turn into S. Beck Avenue going south from Warner and turn right at the very first opening into a parking lot for businesses such as American Green and then make another right so you are traveling the parking lot going west parallel to Warner - you can't miss it. There are three orange umbrellas in front of the store and you'll be able to see the Doc's sign once you're right there. Usually plenty of parking but he closes at 7pm so plan accordingly to get your fix.
