Finally, David's Bridal is open!
While I called in and booked an appointment they didn't have my reservation. I did call a day before their official grand opening so maybe they weren't organized or well trained (the person didn't know what their weekend hours were and had to ask someone). They took me in anyway which was great.
So it's won't-break-the-bank wedding dress galore here. While the quality isn't as good as other bridal shops, you won't notice it in pictures so who cares. They don't have a full inventory here and all the sizes (I had a list of dresses I wanted to try on, they had plenty of size 14) but still a great selection. They also let you take pictures of dresses which is usually a no-no at other places. I'm happy that they do so it's easier to get people's opinion on dresses versus dragging everyone to the store.
The sales person I had was really nice and patient even though she ended up having to also tend another bride later on. They give you a bustier to try on with the wedding dresses which is nice.
The prices are higher an the online prices so it may be a good idea to try on the dress and then order it online.
Remember to book especially on weekends. If you can go on a weekday, go then so you can avoid the chaos.
