rev:text	Good staff; convenient location if you want to avoid the strip and huge conventions and resulting traffic. Good alternative if the town is packed and hotels full. Would consider staying here again although I usually stay at Vdara or Trump. It was disappointing that both the restaurant and bar were closed for rehab, especially when the location does not have many good surrounding options for restaurants. As is, I usually try to stay somewhere with room service so that I can work uninterrupted, but ended up booking here due to limited options during SEMA work. Having said that, with the traffic and huge attendance in conjunction with this convention/trade show group, it was nice to be so far removed from the fray. Nice that complimentary breakfast was offered and that the manager decided to offer a last minute option of appetizers and beer/wine complimentary for nights of 11/2 and 11/3. Great save by the manager. Also really like the fact that the room had coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. Big plus. Also liked the 24-hour fitness room with great equipment. Weird that hotel was so heavily booked so as not to have enough mattress pads. I travel a lot, both for business and pleasure and don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel with a bed without a mattress pad. I was supposed to receive one the second night, but apparently you were still out. Seems you should be prepared to accommodate 100% occupancy. Housekeeping missed my room entirely one day and they don't seem to like to leave more than one pack of regular coffee resulting in guests having to go to the front desk. Big asset for this property is the staff; very guest service oriented, courteous and accommodating. Jennifer at the front desk does a good job, very efficient and guest oriented and goes the extra mile. Best experience was with Marisol from housekeeping. She came to my room twice to correct things overlooked. She is pleasant, goes out of her way for the guest, very sweet and seems to very sincerely and genuinely care about doing a great job and about ensuring a great guest experience. She is a real gem and only hope you all know and recognize how lucky you are to have her on staff.
