  • I picked up a couple of these individual King Cakes yesterday. I asked specifically at the counter if they were made like a real King Cake (such as the display they had on their counter). The lady behind the counter stated that they were so I purchased two. Sadly, these are a far cry from a real King Cake. This is like a very dry cinnamon bun, without the cinnamon, with some sugar glaze on top. As I said, very, very, dry with no flavor at all. No filling either. I cannot comment on other items here, so will just say that you will want to avoid these individual King Cakes if you have ever had the real thing.
